WHAT PEOPLE PLAY

If it's yours, it fits.

Acoustic and electro-acoustic, blues, folk, country, reggae, poetry, spoken word, storytelling. If it's yours and you can do it in a room this size, it fits.

If it's your first time

It's a coffee shop with the lights up and about thirty people in it, most of whom are here to listen. Nobody's filming for TikTok. Nobody's judging your tuning. Play two songs, get a drink, sit down.

If you've played everywhere

You'll know Lo-Tide from the circuit. This is the Monday one. It's small, it's warm, and the coffee's better than the coffee at the other ones.

Who runs it

Programmed with Lo-Tide Collective, who've spent years putting on grassroots nights across Greater Manchester. @lotidecollective

Getting here

Heaton Chapel is an eight-minute walk. On-street parking on Shaw Road and the side streets, free in the evening.
